A reported Liverpool target is the world’s most exciting teenage footballer, according to Four Four Two.

The football publication posted a list of the game’s 50 biggest prospects under the age of 20 on Friday afternoon.

And a certain Jude Bellingham has – understandably – topped it.

The Mirror reported in December that Liverpool were plotting a summer transfer for the Borussia Dortmund sensation.

And with the former Birmingham City product officially [kind of] earning the title of football’s most exciting starlet, his valuation in Germany would increase.

According to The Mirror, Dortmund could demand £90 million for the 18-year-old but with the England international contracted for another three-and-a-half years, the Bundesliga outfit could – and probably will – hike up the asking price.

However, Bellingham is worth it.

It’s ridiculous to think that a youngster who isn’t even 19 yet is such an accomplished figure within football, having scored in the Champions League against Manchester City last season.

For context, a lot of people at Liverpool are fascinated by Harvey Elliott’s potential – and yet the former Fulham graduate finished fourth in this list.

Not that Elliott is less gifted, because that’s a difficult thing to prove, but he is less accomplished and less experienced than Bellingham.

And lest we forget about Kaide Gordon, who placed 28th in the same list – another highly-rated Liverpool talent who’ll get drastically better the more senior football he receives.

Jurgen Klopp already has some scary talents at his disposal on Merseyside but, come this summer, he could have the most frightening youngsters of all.
