Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen scored his first Fenerbahce goal.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen scored his first Fenerbahce goal yesterday in just his second match for the club.
Janssen helped the team on their way to a 4-1 victory against Alanyaspor, netting from open play.
The striker sealed a season long loan move just over a week ago after Tottenham made clear his first team opportunities would be limited.
Janssen did not make the most of his opportunities at Spurs last season and lost the faith of head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who moved to sign Fernando Llorente on deadline day.

The Dutch international took months to score his first goal for Tottenham. In Turkey it is proving to be a very different experience.
Speaking after the game, Janssen expressed his delight and praised his new fans.
He told Hurriyet: “It makes me happy that the fans are a support for me, I play for the club and for them, I want to be important for this team.”
Janssen’s problem at Tottenham was that he was not important – he was only ever a back-up for Harry Kane, which put him under extra pressure to perform every time he did get onto the pitch.
That is the crucial difference which could see him succeed at Fenerbahce, and it is already looking unlikely he would want to return to sit on the bench at Spurs.
