Tottenham loan striker overshadowed by his Fenerbahce teammate.

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Vincent Janssen’s goal drought continued at the weekend.
The Dutchman has not netted since mid-September during his loan spell at Turkish side Fenerbahce.
At the weekend he played his part in a 4-1 victory for his side – but was overshadowed by former Tottenham flop Roberto Soldado.

Soldado stunned fans by scoring a hat-trick in the victory over Sivasspor, having entered the game with no goals from eight appearances.
Janssen helped him out, providing an assist for Soldado’s second goal.
Tottenham loaned Janssen out after a poor season following his £17 million move from AZ Alkmaar.

It was a strange day from a Tottenham perspective in Turkey, with former striker Emmanuel Adebayor also netting a hat-trick for Istanbul Basaksehir 24 hours earlier.
Who would have predicted Adebayor and Soldado end the weekend on six goals combined and Harry Kane – the man who replaced them both – on none?
