Moussa Sissoko’s terrible spell at Tottenham could come to an early end, with French newspaper L’Equipe reporting this week he is likely to move on this summer.
The newspaper claimed Sissoko could move on at a price of 20 million Euros (£17 million).
Spurs paid nearly double that fee to sign Sissoko, with The BBC reporting last summer that they paid Newcastle United £30 million.
In one sense it would be an admission of failure to settle up and sell him after a year at a loss, but getting £17 million would still represent somewhat of a victory.

Sissoko has made only six starts this season in the Premier League, and has not looked like a £17 million player when he has played, or anything near it, let alone a £30 million one.
A fee of £17 million would have seemed excessive based on his Newcastle performances this time last season, and it was simply ludicrous that he cost £30 million based on his Euro 2016 displays.
Tottenham would be selling at a loss, but they would be getting his £95,000 a week wages off their books, a figure which has him among the top five earners at the club.
