Leeds United youngster Charlie Cresswell has been spotted in Leeds United first-team training, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side gear up for their Premier League season.

Leeds were back running this week, as Bielsa looks to get his squad up to speed for the demands of a top flight campaign.

And it seems that he was keen to get a closer look at Cresswell, who is regarded to be one of Leeds’ top prospects.

The centre-back, who is the son of former Leeds player Richard, was spotted doing drills with the Whites’ first-team squad.

The training call-up is recognition for the excellent form that Cresswell has shown at youth team level for Leeds.

The youngster has captained Leeds’ under-18 side over the past year, and looks to have an extremely bright future ahead of him.

Cresswell is not only dominant in the air, but also has shown real leadership qualities and excellent attitude, and his promotion to first-team training shows just how highly Leeds think of the 17-year-old.
