Liverpool player Tom Brewitt is the latest to suggest Ryan Kent is the most skilful at his level at the club.
Liverpool defender Tom Brewitt has become the latest youngster to take part in a question-and-answer session for the Reds’ official website.
The 17-year-old England under-17 international has played all four of Liverpool’s UEFA Youth League matches this season, even scoring against Real Madrid. And he has now revealed, among other things, his footballing idols and who the most skilful young player at the club is.
Just like Jordan Rossiter before him, Brewitt said that Ryan Kent was the most skilful player at his level, and as the plaudits continue for the secondary-striker-cum-winger it will be interesting to see when he is given a taste of first-team action by Brendan Rodgers.
Kent has scored two goals and set up one other in four under-21 appearances this season and he also has two assists in four UEFA Youth League appearances playing alongside Brewitt.
The centre-back also revealed the Liverpool player he most admires is Steven Gerrard and that the Reds skipper and former Barcelona defender Carles Puyol were the two stars he idolised when he was growing up.
The Liverpool teenager has a long road ahead of him before he can emulate his idols, but with his ultimate dream in football to captain the Reds, who is to say he will not fulfil it?
