
Salomon Rondon has told The Chronicle that Miguel Almiron will be a success at Newcastle United.
The former Newcastle loanee, who is now on the books of Dalian Professional in the Chinese Super League, has raved about Almiron and has outlined his attributes.
The 30-year-old spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at the Magpies from West Bromwich Albion.
The Venezuela international joined Dalian from West Brom in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by Yahoo! Sport to be worth £16.5 million.
Rondon told The Chronicle about Almiron: ”He does a lot of work for the team and that means a lot to him because he wants to show everyone that he can score goals, he can run, he’s really fast and he can make assists. I think Miguel can have a very nice time in Newcastle in the coming years.”

Almiron joined Newcastle from Atlanta United in January 2019, and made nine starts and one substitute appearances in the Premier League during the second half of the 2018-19 campaign, according to WhoScored.
The 26-year-old Paraguay international attacking midfielder has scored two goals and provided one assist in 28 league matches for the Magpies so far this season, according to WhoScored.
As for Rondon, the striker scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 32 league matches during his loan spell at Newcastle last season, according to WhoScored.
