Leeds United target Juan Foyth was left out of Tottenham Hotspur’s squad for their Europa League tie with Lokomotiv Plovdiv last night.
The Sun have claimed that Leeds are keen to sign Foyth this summer, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side look to improve their defence.
And Tottenham’s decision to leave Foyth out of their European squad to take on Plovdiv will surely only encourage the Argentine to move on.
Spurs youngster Cameron Carter-Vickers was picked ahead of Foyth by Jose Mourinho last night, which shows just how far down the pecking order the Argentine has now fallen at Spurs.
Foyth apparently wants to stay at Spurs (ESPN), but Mourinho’s latest selection decision may well make him reconsider that.

Foyth surely has too many players in his way now to stand any chance of playing regular football at Tottenham.
And if Leeds do come in for the £15-million rated centre-back (The Sun), he may well be best advised to agree to the transfer.
