Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Heung-Min Son share a number of things in common at Tottenham.
Not only do they have double-barreled names, but they are also underrated figures in north London.
Even with Son securing the Golden Boot for his 23 goals during the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, he still wasn’t nominated for the PFA Player of the Year. Work that one out!
That just goes to show how undervalued the South Korean star is and it probably reflects on his value in the market.
According to CIES, Hojbjerg is valued at £45 million, the same as his Tottenham Hotspur teammate, Son.
To put that into context, the most valuable Premier League player is Manchester City’s new boy, Erling Haaland at £129 million.
Declan Rice, who plays a similar role for West Ham as Hojbjerg does for Spurs, is valued at £64 million.

HOJBJERG HAS BEEN IMMENSE FOR TOTTENHAM
Either way, for the Danish star, he has come a long way from the £15 million Tottenham paid for his services (Sky Sports) when Jose Mourinho was in charge.
He didn’t arrive as a proven performer from Southampton or someone that was probably sought-after by a lot of teams.
But he has proven to be a top-quality purchase and a player that is hugely missed when he is out of the XI.
Under Mourinho, Hojbjerg thrived, week in and week out, and he has now continued that on under the stewardship of Antonio Conte.
And, come next season, with Champions League football returning to Spurs, Hojbjerg, along with many Spurs players, have the chance to take their game to even higher levels.
