Liverpool are considering letting Jordon Ibe leave. Should Tottenham make a move as a cheaper alternative to Georginio Wijnaldum?

Jordon Ibe is available for transfer from Liverpool, and the winger considering his options.
The England under-21 international has an offer to join Bournemouth, and the clubs have agreed a £15 million fee, but the attacker is holding out to hear alternative options before committing his future to the Cherries, The Mirror report.
One club he could surely not turn down would be Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently looking to sign Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle but are haggling over price.
Ibe is a player who was lauded by Liverpool legend Phil Thompson last summer, who told SkySports: “Ability-wise he’s top class. He’s got dribbling ability, he’s got the final ball and he can score goals.”

Signed by Liverpool as a teenager from Wycombe, London born Ibe established himself as a first team player under Brendan Rodgers, but looks set to be moved on by Jurgen Klopp after the club’s expensive addition of Sadio Mane.
At Tottenham he could join a squad full of young talented English players, and aim to establish a partnership with the club’s international full-backs on the flanks.
Mauricio Pochettino may be just the man to get the best out of him, and develop his raw potential. Ibe was a player Liverpool fans were lauding as better than Raheem Sterling a year ago, but after an underwhelming season for the Reds, that praise has dampened.

Tottenham moving in for him could represent a step forward in his career, to play Champions League football and compete higher up the table.
Ibe is just 20 and for Liverpool, selling him is a real gamble. It is a move Tottenham could be wise to make, as he is a natural winger unlike their top young attacking talents trying to breakthrough, Alex Pritchard and Josh Onomah.
