Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has taken yet another dig at some Liverpool fans on Twitter.

Silva has suggested on the social networking site that reading a book is “a bit too much” for some Liverpool fans.

The Portugal international – who earns £150,000 as salary at City, according to Spotrac.com – had initially hit back at some supporters of the Merseyside outfit after they trolled him on Twitter following his message to fans of his own club.

Time to move on

This has been going on for a bit too long now, and both Liverpool fans and Silva need to move on.

The Reds have started pre-season, while City have just finished their 2019-20 campaign.

It is time for both the teams to get ready for next season, and Silva needs to stop worrying about what some Liverpool fans are telling him on Twitter.

As for supporters of the Reds on the social networking site, they should revel in the fact that their team won the Premier League title this past season and were head and shoulders above City, and should ignore Silva’s digs at them.
