Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva is reportedly keen on a move to Barcelona, as questions continue to be asked about the star’s future.
According to today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo, there is hope from the Portuguese player that a move to Barcelona from Manchester City remains a possibility.
Despite Barcelona’s financial situation, the Blaugrana remain interested in Silva but a deal will, understandably, be difficult to pull off.
Silva has also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia but it seems the £150,000-a-week (ESPN) winger would prefer to remain in Europe, with PSG and of course Barcelona, the clubs rumoured to be interested.

According to the same report from the Spanish outlet, there is hope from those in Spain that City will be able to help facilitate a transfer for the 28-year-old.
Silva, who joined City from French club AS Monaco back in 2017, has been a remarkable success for Pep Guardiola’s side.
The winger has consistently performed at a high level for City, and it would be a shame for the Premier League champions to lose such an important player.
But, for City, it seems the clearout is continuing.
Kyle Walker is rumoured to have agreed to a deal with Bayern Munich, Riyad Mahrez is reportedly keen on making a move to Saudi Arabia, and Aymeric Laporte will seemingly be making a move with the impending arrival of Josko Gvardiol.
The impending arrival of the Croatian means that the former Athletic Bilbao defender’s game time will be limited.
Whether City will dip into the market for a replacement right-winger remains to be seen.
With Jack Grealish and Phil Foden able to occupy either side for City, there may be a lesser need for a replacement.
Cole Palmer also seemingly has a bright future. The Englishman has been deployed out wide for Guardiola’s side.
