£15.5m player Tottenham have loaned out involved in 4-0 rout

Tottenham Hotspur signed Destiny Udogie in the summer transfer window, and the left-back showed for Udinese for against AS Roma this weekend why.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Tottenham paid Udinese an initial transfer fee of €18 million (£15.54 million) to secure the services of Udogie in the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old Italy Under-21 international left-back will stay on loan at Udinese for this season.

Udogie played for Udinese against Roma as a left-winger/wing-back and scored in the fifth minute.

Udinese hammered Roma 4-0 at home.

The Italian has scored two goals in four Serie A matches so far this season.

During the 2020-21 season, Udogie made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in the league.

The teenager scored five goals and gave four assists in those matches.

Against Roma this weekend, the teenager took one shot which ended in a goal, played one keypads, had a pass accuracy of 86.7%, took 44 touches, attempted one dribble, and made four tackles.

Interestingly, Roma are managed by Tottenham’s former boss Jose Mourinho.

Roma are among the clubs aiming to win the Serie A title this season.
