The Torino man would be an excellent addition to the Newcastle United squad.

Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is seen during the Premier League match between Newcastle United and Chelsea at St. James Park on May 13, 2018 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

According to a report from the Northern Echo, Rafa Benitez is desperate to add an established winger to his Newcastle squad this summer, in an effort to provide more competition for the likes of Matt Ritchie and Christian Atsu.

With this in mind, the Spaniard should consider a move for Torino winger Iago Falque, who was in sensational form for his club last season, chalking up 14 goals and 10 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.

The 28-year-old joined Torino from Roma in the summer of 2016 on an initial two-year loan deal, before the Serie A club activated their option to buy him on a permanent deal last year.

Falque would be an excellent addition to the Newcastle squad, what with his exceptional technical ability and his direct style of play.

The Spaniard can play anywhere along the front-line, and with his productive attacking output, he would certainly help bring some potency to Newcastle’s attacking play.

He is quick off the mark, has an impressive bag of tricks, and always looks to drive at the opposition’s defence towards goal.

Falque would provide excellent competition in the wide attacking department at St James’ Park, and if Rafa manages to bring him to Tyneside this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Newcastle.
