Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was in fine form this weekend as his side beat Hull City.

The Reds demolished the Tigers on Saturday afternoon as goals from James Milner, Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana saw them to a 5-1 win.

It was another impressive performance from Jurgen Klopp’s side, who moved up to third in the table with the win.

The key to their success was their utter domination of the ball, with them enjoying a massive 74% of the possession in the game.

Captain Jordan Henderson was vital to helping them achieve that as he put in a consummate display in the middle of the park.

He registered 132 touches in the table, by far the most of any player in the game, with all of them proving to be successful.

Defensively he was a rock, winning four tackles, four interceptions and seven ball recoveries in total.

His passing was also superb as he posted 108 accurate passes, the most of any game, two of which were key passes and enjoyed an astonishing overall pass success of 97%.

A stunning performance from Henderson who took another big step to answering his critics in this game.
