Our latest update contains news from West Bromwich Albion, Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Watford.

Benteke to stay

West Bromwich Albion have been dealt a blow as Christian Benteke won’t be joining them, The Sun say.

West Brom had been targeting the powerful forward, but will miss out, with Benteke staying at Crystal Palace this month now.

Tanganga update

In more promising news for West Bromwich Albion, Tottenham Hotspur are currently discussing whether or not to allow Japhet Tanganga to move to the Hawthorns.

The Daily Mail report that the Spurs defender could leave today, with Jose Mourinho’s side current decided whether or not to let the Baggies sign him.

King hopes dashed

Southampton were thought to be leading the race to sign Joshua King from Bournemouth, but The Sun have played down their chances of getting the deal done.

King is apparently unlikely to move to the Saints, in what could be a disappointment for the south coast side.
