The Torino man would be a fantastic addition to the Everton squad.

Ronald Koeman has begun his exciting squad overhaul at Goodison Park in emphatic fashion, having already spent in excess of £100 million on five new players.

The Dutchman will surely have even more money to spend, with BBC Sport reporting that Romelu Lukaku is close to completing a £75 million switch to Manchester United.

In spite of the signing of Sandro Ramirez, along with the Toffees’ reported interest in Olivier Giroud, Koeman will surely want to bring another attacker to the club, to bolster his forward options.

With this in mind, Everton should consider a move for Torino’s lively forward Iago Falque, who was in sensational form for his club last season.

The 27-year-old racked up 12 goals and eight assists in 35 Serie A outings last term, whilst operating mostly form a wide right attacking position.

The Spaniard is quick off the mark, and is renowned for making well-timed runs in behind the opposition defence between the full-back and centre-back.

Falque’s intelligent playing style would undoubtedly improve the fluidity of the Blues’ attacking play, and his ability to play anywhere along the front-line would provide Koeman with the option of playing with more in-game tactical flexibility.

He does still have three years remaining on his current deal in Turin, however, so he will not come cheap, but with the windfall that the Merseysiders are on the verge of receiving from Lukaku’s impending sale, they will easily be able to come up with a package that would tempt the Italians into selling.
