Newcastle United, West Ham United, Everton and Aston Villa feature in HITC Sport’s 11pm transfer update.

Mangala closes in on Everton deal
Everton beat Leicester City 2-1 tonight, and manager Sam Allardyce was able to offer some positive transfer news after the final whistle, telling the Daily Mail that a loan deal for Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala is on the verge of completion.
“Mangala is close but not over the line – I hope it gets done because we’ve been on it long enough,” said Allardyce after tonight’s game, with Everton hoping to beat the deadline to land the Frenchman.

Anderlecht pull out of West Ham’s Dendoncker move
West Ham have been searching for a central midfielder, but they appear to have failed with one pursuit, as The Guardian claim that Anderlecht have pulled out of a move to sell Leander Dendoncker to the Hammers.
The 22-year-old Belgian has been linked with West Ham throughout the transfer window, but in the final hours of deadline day, Anderlecht appear to have pulled out of any possible deal.
Afobe nearing Wolves return
In the final stages of deadline day, Wolverhampton Wanderers could be on the verge of a signing, with Sky Sports reporting that they are attempting to bring Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe back to Molineux.
The 24-year-old hit 23 goals in 48 games for Wolves before heading to Bournemouth in January 2016, but he could now be re-joining the Championship leaders on loan until the end of the season.

Mitrovic could still find a way out of Newcastle
It has been abundantly clear this season that Aleksandar Mitrovic simply isn’t fancied by Rafael Benitez, but a move back to former club Anderlecht fell through earlier today, leaving him in limbo.
The Serbian striker could still leave though, as The Mirror report that Fulham and Bordeaux are interested in a last-gasp deal for the burly striker, whose first-team chances have been dented even further by Islam Slimani’s arrival.
Aston Villa snap up Grabban
Aston Villa have been looking to bring in a striker during this month’s transfer window, and they have tonight confirmed the arrival of one in Bournemouth’s Lewis Grabban.
The 30-year-old hitman scored 12 times in 19 games for Sunderland earlier this season, and now joins Villa on loan for the rest of the season to boost Steve Bruce’s promotion hopes.
