Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has told Football London that Harry Kane has looked really sharp in training ever since the return.
Kane has played every minute for Tottenham since Premier League football restarted, but the Spurs striker has not quite been at the top of his game.
Kane has often had to drop very deep, and has been starved of chances in many of his appearances.
The England international did have a host of openings for Tottenham against Arsenal though, but he was unable to convert.
In the end, Kane’s failure to score didn’t matter to Tottenham, as they ran out 2-1 winners over their biggest rivals anyway.
And Alderweireld is confident that Kane will be back among the goals very soon.
“We don’t ever doubt his quality. He works so hard for the team – everybody does,” the £11 million defender said (Guardian).
“Everybody is part of the team though and nobody just plays for themselves. You could see that. 100 per cent, if you work hard, things will come back. Like today was a good moment and a good thing generally and we go from there.

“Yeah [Harry is looking sharp in training]. Sometimes you need a bit of luck. The presence he brings to pin the other team back makes it difficult and give a lot of space for others to score.
“He does the work, Sonny get the present of the goal but it is Harry who has done the work. Sonny does the press as well before he gets the ball.
“It is a matter of time before the goals will come again for Harry.”
Kane has notched twice in six games since the restart, but has not found the back of the net in any of his last three appearances.
The 26-year-old will surely start for Tottenham tomorrow though, when they take on Newcastle United, and he is likely to be very determined to break his duck.
