Everton talent helped fire his side to a win over Tottenham.
Everton’s Ademola Lookman soots at goal
Everton beat Tottenham to the signing of Ademola Lookman in January, spending £11 million on the Charlton forward.
The Express had reported the previous summer that Tottenham were keen to sign the striker, only to focus on other targets instead in a largely bungled transfer window.
Lookman scored on his Everton debut against Manchester City, but has found it tougher since then, but last night he was back among the goals, scoring against Tottenham for the under-23s.
Lookman’s opener inspired Everton to win 4-1 at Goodison Park, with Bruno Sambou, Kieran Dowell and Dominic Calvert-Lewin completing the scoring, with Kazaiah Sterling on target for Spurs.
Everton are just one point away from clinching the under-23 title, with the way they dispatched Tottenham a demonstration of their strength.

Lookman, 19, became the most expensive teenager ever signed from England’s third tier when he moved to the Toffees, and hopes to emulate the success Dele Alli has had in stepping up two levels.
