The Arsenal midfielder was superb in the win over FC Basel.

Arsenal midfielder Santiago Cazorla was in fine form on Wednesday as his side beat Basel at the Emirates.
The Gunners hosted the Swiss giants at home as they sought to secure their first Champions League win this season.
They managed to do just that as two goals from Theo Walcott, continuing his superb early season form, saw them to a comfortable 2-0 victory.
In truth, Arsene Wenger’s side dominated throughout and should have come away with a bigger result than they managed.

On of their key performers was midfielder Cazorla as he put in a dominant display in the middle of the park to further emphasise how sorely missed he was last season.
He managed a huge 118 touches in total, the most of any player in the game, with all of them proving to be successful.
Defensively he shone, winning three tackles, one interception and a huge ten defensive duels, the latter being the second most of any player.

He also posted 11 ball recoveries, again the most managed by any player in the game and won the ball back in midfield on four separate occasions.
His passing was at its usual sublime level also as he posted 85 accurate passes, once more the most of any player and enjoyed an overall pass success of 90%.
