Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are interested in signing Real Madrid star Marco Asensio, who has been offered to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Mirror.
The Mirror have reported that Tottenham and AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Asensio, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.

Arsenal are interested in the 26-year-old and have made contact with his representatives to ‘seek answers about his and Real’s demands’, according to the report.
La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Madrid have offered Asensio a contract extension and have told him to give them his answer by June 20.
Asensio is out of contract at Madrid in the summer of 2023.
The Mirror have added that if the three-time Spanish champion and three-time Campions League winner does not agree to a new deal, then Madrid will sell him this summer.

Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur for Marco Asensio?
In our view, it will not be easy for Real Madrid star Marco Asensio to choose between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
While Spurs and Arsenal are big clubs and are global brands, they are not to the level of Real Madrid, arguably the biggest club in the world.
Neither Tottenham nor Arsenal win major trophies on a regular basis.
However, both Spurs and Arsenal could offer the £117,000-a-week (SalarySport) Spain international winger the chance to play regularly, something he is not going to be able to do under Carlo Ancelotti at Madrid.
