He managed 117 touches in total, the most of any player in the game, with all of those proving to be successful.
Defensively he was solid, winning two tackles, four interceptions and five defensive duels in total.

He also managed seven ball recoveries, which was the second-best of any player behind teammate Laurent Koscielny.
His passing stats were his most notable as he posted 96 accurate passes in total and enjoyed an overall passing accuracy of 98% in a display that justified Arsene Wenger’s decision to pick him ahead of summer signing Granit Xhaka once again.
