David Ornstein has said that Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney could join Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
The Athletic journalist has reported on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel that at the right price, Arsenal could sell Kieran Tierney to Premier League rivals Newcastle United.
The £110,000-a-week (SalarySport) Scotland international left-back has been linked with Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
Goal have reported that Newcastle are interested in Arsenal left-back Tierney and could make a big bid for the former Celtic star.
Ornstein said about Tierney: “There have been heavy suggestions of a possible move, whether that be to Newcastle or elsewhere.
“And I do sense that at the right price, if it suited Arsenal and Tierney, then something might happen there.”

Tierney is a very good left-back, but he is clearly the second choice in the role at Arsenal at the moment.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta prefers Oleksandr Zinchenko to Tierney at left-back.
The 25-year-old has made six starts and 19 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners this season.
Tierney also made six appearances in the UEFA Europa League, one in the Carabao Cup, and twice in the FA Cup for Arsenal this campaign.
It is very unlikely that Tierney will become the number one pick for left-back for the Gunners next season.
Newcastle are a massive club who are now very likely to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
The Magpies are going places under Eddie Howe, and we believe that Tierney will flourish at Newcastle.
