1. Everton have competed in the top division for a record 108 seasons, and have played more top-flight league games than any other English club.

2. The club has won the League Championship nine times – the fourth highest of any team.

4. Neville Southall holds the record for the most Everton appearances – he played 751 first-team matches between 1981 and 1997.

5. The club’s longest serving player is Goalkeeper Ted Sagar, who played for 23 years between 1929 and 1953, making a total of 495 appearances.

6. The club’s top goalscorer, with 383 goals in all competitions, is Dixie Dean.

7. Dixie’ Dean scored a record 60 league goals in the 1927-28 season. Dean’s 60 goals were finished off with a hatrick on the last day of the season against Arsenal.
