He was quickly brought back in for the clash with Leicester City and played a key role as his side secured a 0-0 draw against the Premier League champions.
He then played put in another impressive performance as his side ran out as 3-1 winners against Watford before the international break.

Starting with his defensive work, he managed to win five interceptions, 11 defensive duels and nine aerial duels as well as 11 ball recoveries.
He also posted 14 effective clearances; the most of any Arsenal player, and eight effective headed clearances.
His passing was also solid as he registered 87 passes in total, 77 of which were accurate, enjoying an 89% pass accuracy overall.
An impressive two games from Koscielny then, who certainly proved his status as their first choice defender with these two performances.
