The performance narrowly edges last week’s against Stoke, but shows he is improving, and delivering the high levels week in and week out, as opposed to irregularly.
When everybody is fit at United, there is no guarantee he will be part of the starting XI, but he is making a strong case for himself to remain in the side – and another such display against rivals Liverpool at the weekend will only help his cause.
