Aston Villa, Swansea City, Hull City, Nottingham Forest, West Brom, Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers all feature in our transfer round-up.

Aston Villa confirm Neil Taylor deal

Aston Villa suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at Brentford this evening, but have announced yet another signing as Neil Taylor has joined the club from Swansea City. The left back, 27, has been pushed down the Swansea pecking order by the arrival of Martin Olsson, and leaves the Liberty Stadium to try his luck at Villa, almost seven years after signing for Swansea from Wrexham.

Taylor in, Ayew out

With Taylor heading to Villa Park, Swansea have now announced the signing of Villa forward Jordan Ayew as part of the swap deal between the two clubs. Ayew, who hit seven Premier League goals for Villa last season, is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana, and follows in the footsteps of his brother Andre Ayew in joining Swansea.

McCormack to leave Villa as well?

Ross McCormack’s future at Villa has been in doubt for some time now, and Sky Sports report that the Scot will undergo a medical with Nottingham Forest ahead of a loan move to the City Ground, just months after joining Villa from Fulham. The deal looked like it may fall through, but a move has been agreed after Forest increased their wage contribution and added a greater loan fee into the deal as well.

Krul joins AZ Alkmaar

Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has had his loan spell with Ajax terminated, but he’s heading straight back to the Netherlands having agreed a loan deal with AZ Alkmaar. The 28-year-old has endured a frustrating 12 months with injury and a lack of football, so he’ll be hoping this move can reinvigorate his career.

Grosicki undergoing Hull City medical

Rennes winger Kamil Grosicki has often been linked with a move to the Premier League, and it finally seems that he’s making the switch to England. The Polish wide man, who starred at Euro 2016, is undergoing a medical with Hull City according to The Guardian, ahead of a £7.7million move to the KCOM Stadium.

Boudebouz snubs Swansea

According to the Daily Mail, Montpellier playmaker Ryad Boudebouz has snubbed a deadline day move to Swansea, as he wants to stay in France. The Algerian, 26, has hit eight goals and two assists this season, but won’t be heading to the Premier League this evening.

Pulis to reunite with Marc Wilson at West Brom

West Brom have been quiet this month, but are set to add a new face as defender Marc Wilson has arrived to complete a move from Bournemouth, report the Daily Mail. Wilson has struggled for first-team football at Bournemouth since arriving from Stoke City over the summer, but he’ll now reunite with former Stoke boss Tony Pulis on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Palace snap up Milivojevic

Crystal Palace have been desperate for new signings, and they’ve landed one tonight with Olympiacos star Luka Milivojevic joining on a three-and-a-half year deal. The Serbian international will bring some grit and bite to the Palace midfield, and should play a huge part in the club’s fight against relegation.

QPR announce Ravel Morrison deal

QPR added Matt Smith earlier today, and have now made it two deadline day signings with Ravel Morrison re-joining the club. The Lazio playmaker has joined on loan until the end of the season, and returns to Loftus Road having hit seven goals in 16 appearances during a loan spell in 2014.
