Italian website ClubDoria claim that Sampdoria defender Omar Colley has decided to change his agent, in order to push through a move to the Premier League. Leeds, Everton and Newcastle have all been linked.

Colley, 29, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League from the Serie A side in recent windows. The Gambia international has been one of his side’s best players – though this month, he will be playing at AFCON.

Towards the end of December, TeamTalk reported that Leeds, Everton and Newcastle are interested – despite Colley boasting a contract until 2025. SampNews24 claim that the Serie A side want £10million for the defender.

Now, ClubDoria report that Colley has changed his agent – to LIAN Sports Group’s Fali Ramidani – in order to push through a move to the Premier League. The report claims a January transfer is not out of the question.

Everton, Leeds, Newcastle – Which club needs Colley the most?

Looking at the squads, Everton and Leeds have plenty of options at centre-back. Leeds boast Pascal Struijk, Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente and Robin Koch – while Luke Ayling and Kalvin Phillips can cover.

Charlie Cresswell is also coming into the senior side. Meanwhile, Everton boast Michael Keane, Yerry Mina, Ben Godfrey, Mason Golgate and more at the back. But Newcastle could do with better quality at the back.

The Toon have options, but they lack the necessary talent at centre-back to stem the flow of goals. Bringing in Colley might just give them the athleticism and physicality to avoid the drop – a bargain, at £10million.
