Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been slammed for his comments about Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
Earlier this week an old video from earlier this year surfaced in which Aubameyang was criticising the Gunners’ boss for his lack of ability to manage big players.
It came after Arsenal terminated the 33-year-old’s contract in North London over disciplinary reasons.
The Gabon international, who joined Chelsea for £10 million [Sky Sports] during the summer from Barcelona, apologised for the comments and Arteta simply said on Wednesday that everybody is entitled to their opinion, more or less.

But former Italy hitman Antonio Cassano has launched an attack on the player, who scored 92 goals for Arsenal.
Cassano, speaking to Bobo TV as quoted by Area Napoli, claims that is not the ‘champion’ that he thinks he is and says that for all the player’s nous up front, he still cannot even trap a ball.
He said: “Does Aubameyang consider himself a champion? But he doesn’t know how to trap the ball. Now Aubameyang can speak as well… people wake up in the morning and start talking about football. Now football is good for everyone. Goals, goals, goals ok … try to play football instead of talking about Arteta, who is a manager and who has a young team, nothing special, and is first in the most important league in the world. For me it’s madness.”
Arteta gave off the vibe that he didn’t particularly care about Aubameyang’s comments and why would he?
Arsenal are top of the Premier League table and his successor in this Gunners XI, Gabriel Jesus, has been one of the best signings of the summer transfer window thus far.
Even though he only left 10 months ago, the North Londoners have moved on from Aubameyang already.
