Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny was in fine form on Saturday as his side comfortably beat Sunderland.
The Gunners travelled to the Stadium of Light looking to maintain their strong start to the season and did just that as they ran out 4-1 winners.
Two goals apiece from Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud led them to the comfortable victory.
It was a performance that was built on impressive displays across the park as the Arsenal stars turned on the style to get past the hapless Black Cats.
One such impressive display was that of Elneny in central midfield as he staked a claim for a more regular starting spot.

Defensively he was solid, winning one tackle and two interceptions throughout the game.
Elneny’s ability to win the ball back was evident as he won possession in midfield on five separate occasions and posted eight ball recoveries, both of which were the most of any Arsenal player.
His passing was impressive as he managed 91 accurate passes, including a key pass, and he enjoyed an overall pass success rate of 94 per cent.
Both of those tallies were once again the most managed by any player in the game and further highlighted that Elneny may be deserving of a more regular place in this Arsenal team.
