Celtic defender and Leicester loanee was outstanding against Rosenborg.

Celtic defender Filip Benkovic has made such a huge difference since signing for the club on loan at the end of the transfer window.
Acquired from Leicester for the season, it is no exaggeration to say that if Celtic had him at the start of August, they would be in the Champions League.
Benkovic has been excellent and has struck up a dominant partnership with Dedryck Boyata, who is also on top form.
Last night against Rosenborg the pair were outstanding.
They controlled possession from the back, with Boyata touched the ball 68 times and completed 98 per cent of his passes.
Benkovic had 107 touches and recorded a 92 per cent pass completion rate.

Benkovic made one successful tackle, four interceptions, and six clearances, higher than Boyata in all three categories.
He is emerging as Celtic’s defensive leader and it must be so frustrating for Brendan Rodgers that it is just a loan deal with little chance of being made permanent.
Celtic now have two clean sheets in a row in the Europa League, unthinkable earlier this season.
Benkovic looks top class and will thrive for Leicester when he gets his chance. For now he is benefitting from starring for Celtic and they are happy to have him.
