Florent Malouda is without a club after leaving Trabzonspor at the end of last month.
When Chelsea signed Florent Malouda he cost them £10.5 million and he went on to have an excellent career at Stamford Bridge; even winning Chelsea Players’ Player of the Year in 2010.
But in last season at the club things went sour. He was treated poorly by the club, discarded to the under-21 side, the former French international was widely praised for the way in which he dealt with the situation.
Last summer there was an understandable scramble for the services of Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda – but in the end it was the lure of Turkish football that talked him round as he agreed a two-year-deal with Trabzonspor
But he cancelled his deal with the club a week ago and is now looking for a new club. The free agent is therefore without a club, meaning he has to keep fit without the help of training.
Luckily for Malouda he has a place he can call home to return to for training. No, he is not back at Chelsea, but his first club Berrichonne de Chateauroux.
Malouda made his debut at the club when he was 16-years-old and played 60-odd games before moving to Guingamp, then Lyon and moving on to Chelsea.
He invested in the club at the start of the year and the club have now confirmed he is training with them in order to keep fit and find a new club.
