Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing what former physio Jose Luich uploaded to Instagram.
What’s the story?
Well, Luich actually reposted a photo of himself and Liverpool’s Head of Medical Services Andrew Massey outside Anfield.
Massey captioned the selfie: “Great to see this beautiful person at Liverpool today. Magic is happening when you mix the fire with the powder.”
It’s certainly an interesting comment, even more so given the context.
Luich left Liverpool in October 2020, having arrived from a Qatar-based sports medicine hospital in the summer of 2018 – according to the club’s official website.
His exit was quite sudden, and plenty of speculation surrounded it after a fan posted a conversation they had with the Spaniard on Instagram.
It is a mystery as to whether this exchange is real or not.
Are Liverpool rehiring Jose Luich?
As far as we’re concerned, there haven’t been any exits from Liverpool’s physio department.
However, Massey’s caption of his meeting with Luich is certainly interesting, and makes it sound like he could be returning.
Specifically, his comment about mixing fire and powder could potentially hint at something of a reunion between the pair.
The fact they were meeting at Anfield also adds plenty of intrigue to the situation.
If it was just a friendly catch up, they could’ve met anywhere.
