Tottenham star Giovani Lo Celso impressed.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso made a statement on his first Champions League start for the club.
He was Tottenham’s best player in the win and led by example with both a classy and industrious display.
His performance was just what manager Mauricio Pochettino has been crying out for from his players, albeit against a weak and overhyped Red Star Belgrade team.
Lo Celso led from the front, making five tackles. This was more than any Tottenham player managed, with Tanguy Ndombele closest (4).
The Argentine also blocked one Red Star shot and made one clearance as he worked hard inside his own box.
He took 102 touches, showing how comfortable he is in possession. This was more than any player on the pitch.
He used possession well, completing 89.9 per cent of his passes, and creating two goalscoring chances. Only Dele Alli (3) made more key passes.
Lo Celso topped his performance off by scoring the team’s opening goal just before half time.
This was a statement from Lo Celso, showing that after a tough, injury interrupted start, he is ready now.
Tottenham have been waiting for him, and he has not disappointed.
