Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could now be about to leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for good.
According to TMW, Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Atletico are in talks with Tottenham over a potential deal for Hojbjerg.
Premier League club Spurs are open to selling the midfielder.
Hojbjerg himself is willing to make the move to Atletico and has “already found a broad agreement” with the La Liga club, according to the report.
It is now between Tottenham and Atletico to agree on a transfer fee for the £100,000-a-week (SalarySport) Denmark international.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could leave Tottenham Hotspur for Atletico Madrid
In our opinion, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could leave Tottenham Hotspur for Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
If Hojbjerg himself is keen on leaving Spurs and has an agreement with Atletico, then it would make sense for Tottenham to just let him go.

There is no point in the North London club keeping a player against his will.
Spurs, though, should not sell Hojbjerg on the cheap.
After all, the former Bayern Munich and Southampton midfielder is 27 now and is at the top of his game at the moment.
Hojbjerg’s best years are ahead of him, so Tottenham must make sure that they get a fair transfer fee.
The 27-year-old has made 218 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Hojbjerg has scored 12 goals and given 15 assists in those games.
The Tottenham no. 5 scored four goals and gave five assists in 35 Premier League appearances last season.
Tottenham will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season.
