Rebeca Tavares – Fabinho Tavares’ wife – has taken to Twitter after Liverpool’s win over Tottenham to mock José Mourinho.

A Liverpool fan page called Anfield Edition posted the ex-Chelsea manager’s quotes about the loss being an ‘unfair result’ on his Spurs side.

NBC Sport quote the Portuguese coach as saying: “We had the chances. We had the game in control. A draw would be a bad result in relation to the performance so you can imagine how we feel in defeat. Very good performance, of course with some mistakes, and a very, very unfair result.”

After seeing those comments, Fabinho’s wife posted the following six-word tweet.

It was a brief-but-brilliant takedown of the Portuguese boss from Rebeca – surely even he can’t actually believe his side were better?

As WhoScored shows, Jurgen Klopp’s men had 17 shots to Tottenham’s eight, while the Reds also had a huge 75.8% possession of the ball.

If that wasn’t enough, Liverpool also made 813 passes in comparison to Tottenham’s 254, on a night where the Merseysiders were certainly the better team.

Admittedly, Mourinho’s men could’ve performed a smash-and-grab if Steven Bergwijn had finished off his one-on-one which hit the post.

In Fabinho’s case, we presume his wife was delighted with his performance.

The Brazilian recorded four tackles, while also completing seven of his attempted 11 long-range passes.

Additionally, the ex-Monaco man – who earns £100,000-a-week – completed 93.9% of his 98 passes, as he and Rhys Williams dealt with Harry Kane superbly.

Mourinho surely can’t believe his side were better than Liverpool, and Rebeca was spot on with her six-word callout of the Tottenham boss.
