Ex-Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has incredibly claimed on talkSPORT that he would ‘1000%’ prefer West Brom to win the Premier League title over Leeds.

The outspoken pundit has been making his feelings known about Leeds in recent weeks, which has sparked quite a reaction from fans, but it didn’t end well for him last Friday.

Leeds ended up putting three goals past his Villa side and with it securing all three points – it’s fair to say that those at Elland Road made sure he knew about it.

But despite West Brom being one of Villa’s rivals, although nowhere near the biggest given that’s Birmingham City, he would still prefer them over Leeds to win the league title.

“1000% I would rather West Brom win the Premier League than Leeds,” Agbonlahor laughed.

It will be interesting to see how these war-of-words between Agbonlahor and the Leeds fans end because they will be backing themselves to finish above Villa at the end of the season.

Both have started off the season in a very strong fashion and are being tipped to be potential surprise packages.

There has been talk about the unthinkable happening during this campaign and a team outside from the usual suspects winning the title.

But a lot has to happen yet for people to sit up and actually question whether something crazy can happen during these very unique circumstances.
