Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil impressed in the Gunners’ 5-0 victory against Aston Villa this weekend.
Arsenal put in a wonderful performance this weekend to defeat Aston Villa 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
The goals were shared between Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Hector Bellerin, with the young Spaniard netting his first strike for the Gunners.
While many of Arsenal’s players impressed on the day, special praise should go to German international Ozil, whose recent form suggests his injury woes are now well and truly behind him.
The 26-year-old scored one goal, set up another and looked like the Ozil of old in a fine individual performance.
His passing accuracy was 87 per cent while his on-target shooting accuracy was 100 per cent (from one shot).
He also played two key passes, touched the ball 73 times and went on seven trademark dribbles.
