Roy Keane has claimed that a reported Liverpool target could have a serious European Championship campaign.
Eurosport reported in April that Liverpool were keen on signing Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham.
The 17-year-old is one of Europe’s finest teenage talents and few would back against him lighting up Euro 2020 with England over the coming weeks.
Bellingham has already made a big impact in the Champions League after helping the German giants to the quarter-final phase of the competition last term, scoring against Manchester City in April.
If Liverpool do wind up getting him, it would be quite the coup and Manchester United icon Keane believes he is certainly one to watch at the tournament this summer.
Asked by Micah Richards on Sky Sports whether Bellingham could burst on to the scene, Keane said: “100 percent. Yeah, he could be. He’s a good shout.”

It goes without saying that Liverpool are a massive club, one of the biggest in Europe.
But if Bellingham has a good Euros then the Anfield club might find themselves struggling to afford the teenager.
Remember, this is a club with limited spending power this summer – especially after splashing out £36 million on Ibrahima Konate – and it’s entirely possible that Bellingham’s valuation could skyrocket in the very near future.
Even if he has a poor European Championship and barely plays, is it going to affect his price-tag? Not really.
From Dortmund’s perspective, it’s win-win no matter what happens but if you’re a Liverpool fan – and preferably a non-England one – then you don’t want to see this lad dazzling on such an enormous stage.
