Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas has told the club’s official website that he is now fully fit and is ready to contribute to the team.
The 24-year-old’s season has been affected by injuries, but he has been involved in Liverpool’s matchday squads for the past three games.
According to WhoScored, the Greece international has made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League and has played once in the EFL Cup for Liverpool so far this season, but he has yet to make his debut in the Premier League for the Reds.
The left-back – who earns £60,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac – has said that his injury problems are behind him, and that he is ready to start playing again.
Tsimikas told the club’s official website: “I’m 100 per cent ready to get back, I await my chance. I’m here to help my team. From the first moment I love this team. I’m here, 100 per cent fit for every game [coming up] and ready to give my best.
“I work very hard every day to be ready for this day. It was frustrating for me because I was never injured before but now I’m back, I’m strong and ready for this and await it.
“Every beginning is difficult. The boys and the manager helped me a lot to be directly in the team. It helped me a lot. I try also in training to understand what the manager says to me and to be ready as fast as I can.”

Positive news for Liverpool
Andy Robertson is the first-choice left-back at Liverpool, but the Scotland international does need competition.
Tsimikas is a very good left-back who has played six times for Greece, and he can step in for Robertson if he needs to.
The 24-year-old – described as “quick, direct, a strong dribbler and with quality off his left foot from wide areas” on Liverpool’s official website in August 2020 – being now fully fit and available is certainly good news for the defending Premier League champions amid their injury problems.
