Erling Haaland has been the talk of the town in recent weeks for Manchester City supporters, but Robert Lewandowski could soon be entering that conversation.

According to Bild, the Polish striker’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has suggested that City could be a destination for Lewandowski in 2022. The 33-year-old attacker’s contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2023.

However, as per the report, the Bundesliga giants are open to selling Lewandowski next summer if the attacker is keen on departing the Bavarian side. And City could be a potential destination.

The Manchester giants are eager to sign a new striker. With Sergio Aguero’s void yet to be filled, Lewandowski on paper seems like a realistic option for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The Catalan manager coached the striker at Bayern. And for City, Lewandowski could be a lethal option up-front despite his age compared to Haaland.
