Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Nat Phillips is still out of action for the Newcastle clash.
The centre-back has been a key component in the Reds’ defence this season, but the hamstring issue that kept him out of the Leeds game is seemingly continuing to be a problem.
As you can imagine, Liverpool fans weren’t best pleased after hearing this update on Phillips.
The injury is obviously made a lot worse by the fact Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez are out of action as well.
This likely means that Fabinho will be dropping back into the defence again, and that’s one thing Liverpool fans aren’t best pleased about due to how good he is in the midfield.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping Liverpool don’t miss Phillips too much against Newcastle, but fans aren’t feeling too confident.
