Charles Watts has suggested on his own Youtube channel that even £80 million would not be enough to buy Bukayo Saka off Arsenal.

Saka has caught the eye this term, but with Arsenal needing to raise funds, the Times have reported that Mikel Arteta could look to cash in on his prized prospect to provide him with a budget.

However, Watts, who reports for Goal, has seemingly disputed these claims.

And he thinks that Arsenal would swat aside all offers for Saka, unless they were ‘monumental’.

“Yes 100%, unless someone came in and walked a £200 million offer in for Saka then Arsenal are going to listen, but realistically Manchester City aren’t going to do that,” the winger said.

“And I can’t see Arsenal accepting, say someone puts £70 or £80 million down for him, I don’t think they’re going to accept that sort of figure, especially to a domestic rival.

“So unless someone put in a monumental bid that had to be listened to then yes, I think it’s out of the question that they listen to offers this summer.”

Arsenal supporters are likely to agree that making sure Saka is not for sale is the right stance to take.

Selling the teenager, who Freddie Ljungberg said was ‘amazing’ (Arsenal.com), would send out completely the wrong message, with Arteta seemingly trying to build a vibrant and young Arsenal side.

Saka has really emerged as the jewel in the Gunners’ crown this term, and he may well win their Player of the Season award.

The youngster is already a key man for Arteta’s side, and he is likely to be one of the players that the Spaniard builds his side around in the years ahead.
