Called into the French international squad in Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny’s absence last month, Kurt Zouma is now in big trouble.
Kurt Zouma, a transfer target for Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea has been slapped with a 10 game ban for a reckless tackle.
Recently called into the French international squad, the St Etienne centre-back is in hot water with the French Football Federation.
The 19-year-old was red-carded at the weekend in a 0-0 draw with Sochaux early in the first half for a ‘horror tackle’ on Thomas Guerbert.
Guerbert was seriously injured, suffering a fractured tibia and fibula, and a dislocated ankle. He is expected to be out for between four and six months.
The FFF has announced it’s decision to extend the statutory four-game ban to an almost unprecedented 10 games.
