Arsenal youngster Rob Holding managed to put in a solid display as his side were beaten by Liverpool this weekend.
The Gunners youngster was drafted in for his Premier League debut on Sunday afternoon as they hosted Jurgen Klopp’s side at the Emirates.
It did not prove to be a good afternoon for him and his side though as Liverpool ran riot to find themselves 4-1 up at one stage in the game.

They came back to nearly snatch a draw but in the end it was disappointment for Arsene Wenger’s side.
The defence will come in for criticism in particular, but stats show Holding actually put in a solid display.

He posted 70 touches in total, with all of those proving to be successful ones for the young defender.
He also managed to win two tackles, two interceptions, ten defensive duels and seven aerial duels as well as two blocks.
Coupled with seven ball recoveries and an overall pass success rate of 74% and this proved to be a strong start from Holding, despite his side’s disappointing defeat in the game.
