Deadline day is upon us and Premier League clubs are expected to be doing plenty of business in what is proving to be the most lucrative transfer window of all time.

Here are 10 deals from top flight clubs in England we expect to happen.

10. Wilfried Bony to Swansea City

A return to the club where he made his name in the English top tier looks likely for Bony, according to the Sun, after a difficult two-and-a-half years at Manchester City.

9. Fernando Llorente to Chelsea

A new forward will be needed at the Liberty Stadium because the same report claims that the Swans’ topscorer from 2016/17 is set to complete a £14m switch to the Blues and reunite with his former Juventus manager, Antonio Conte.

8. Ben Gibson to Leicester City

The Foxes are in the market for a new centre-back and have targeted Gibson – who is keen to leave Middlesbrough and continue playing in the Premier League – but the Leicester Mercury says that Boro will need to lower their £25m valuation for a deal to happen.

7. Mamadou Sakho to Crystal Palace

The Eagles have been slow in the transfer market and three league defeats from three suggests changes are needed and after impressing on loan last term, Palace are keen to sign Sakho with Liverpool likely to accept £25m plus add-ons – claims the Evening Standard.

6. Serge Aurier to Tottenham Hotspur

Sky Sports reports that this £23m deal to take Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain to Spurs is on the verge of completion after a work permit was granted to the right-back.

5. Jonny Evans to Manchester City

Arsenal and Leicester are also keen on the West Bromwich Albion defender, but the Telegraph reports they have both had £25m bids rejected while City are ready to complete a £30m deal once they have offloaded Eliaquim Mangala.

4. Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea

Conte is keen to get a few new signings over the line on deadline day and after learning of the Blues’ interest, the Guardian says Drinkwater has handed in a transfer request at the King Power Stadium ahead of what is likely to be a £35m switch.

3. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool

According to the BBC this transfer is as good as done, with a £40m fee for Oxlade-Chamberlain agreed with the Gunners and the 24-year-old set to sign a five-year contract worth £120,000-a-week.

Quite possibly the longest running saga of the summer, according to the Sun Van Dijk is finally set to complete his dream move to Anfield from Southampton for a whopping £70m fee.
