Arsenal fans are delighted with the news that Gabriel Martinelli is available for tonight’s game against Newcastle United.
Arsenal confirmed yesterday that Martinelli would be fit enough to feature in the contest this evening, which surely boosts Mikel Arteta’s side’s chances of success.
There were fears that Martinelli could be set for a lengthy absence, when he went down injured in the warm-up before Arsenal’s FA Cup clash with Newcastle.
But the youngster seems to have shaken off that fitness concern.
And Arsenal fans are delighted that Martinelli has made such a swift recovery.
If Martinelli had been injured for any lengthy period of time it would have been a major blow to both club and player as he has only just returned to full fitness.
His availability should increase Arsenal’s attacking threat considerably, though.
Martinelli may have missed much of the season through injury, but his value to the Arsenal team has already been proven, with his handful of performances to date this term all very impressive.
