Remy Cabella had a mixed game for Newcastle United against West Bromwich Albion away from home in the Premier League on Sunday.
Newcastle United got the better of West Bromwich Albion 2-0 away from home in the Premier League on Sunday, but Remy Cabella failed to spark.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has struggled to impress for the Magpies so far this season following his move from Montpellier in the summer transfer window.
Manager Alan Pardew has insisted that Cabella will eventually come good, but the 24-year-old did not have a great game against the Baggies.
| Total Shots | Shots on Target | Goal Assist | Key Passes | Total Pass | Accurate Pass | Total Dribbles | Dribbles Won | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rémy Cabella | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 38 | 31 | 3 | 2 | 82 |
Cabella looked active and bright in the first half, but faded away as the second half progressed and was eventually substituted on 82 minutes.
As stats above show, the France international had a rather mixed game. He showed flashes of brilliance from free kicks and also played an important role in Newcastle’s opening goal, while creating space for his side in attack.
There were signs of promise in Cabella’s display in Newcastle’s 2-0 win against West Brom, but there is still a lot more to come from him.
