Liverpool signed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal late in the transfer window.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has had a pretty terrible time of it since leaving Arsenal for Liverpool.
His debut was in a 5-0 thrashing for the Reds at the hands of Manchester City, and his performance in the Carabao Cup against Leicester City was panned by supporters of all sides.
He has struggled for starts, although was given the nod last night for England against Slovenia.
Unfortunately it is not a game he will remember fondly.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was substituted off for Jesse Lingard after 63 minutes.

During that time he touched the ball just 32 times, and did not make any serious attacking contribution.
He had no shots at goal, created no chances, and several of the passes he did make were misplaced, recording a 62 per cent completion rate overall.

The attacker made just one dribble, and looked low on confidence in front of the Wembley crowd.
He looked frustrated as he was taken off, and he had every right to be annoyed with his own poor contribution.
He could find himself on the bench for England’s next fixture, and he has done his Liverpool prospects no help.
